John Hofmann

John Hofmann, of Wilmette, IL, joined Chicago’s KeyBank Real Estate Capital as a middle-market banker in 2011 and continues to drive operations in leadership positions such as senior vice president and capital markets team leader. His responsibilities at KeyBank includes a leadership role in company’s commercial mortgage team. John Hofmann served as the managing director of The Private Bank/CIBC, where he managed a real estate loan portfolio. He also served as the managing director of The Carlton Group (Carlton Advisory Services, Inc.), where he headed all debt and equity for the Midwest.

John Hofmann studied finance and management at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, graduating with a master of business administration. Before that, at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, he studied finance and earned a bachelor of science. He was a regular fixture on the dean’s list at Miami University and graduated cum laude.

Mr. Hofmann’s personal interests include golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
